Hello readers and welcome to my storytelling blog! My name is David Ghodsizadeh. I am the founder and storytelling coach at Storytelling 4 Success, a business that coaches technical professionals on how to leverage storytelling in the workplace.
I've learned first-hand and applied storytelling in the business world for more than one decade. For 6+ years, I've been coaching professionals who want to develop this career-building skill.

From Weakness to Strength
You would never guess that I am a storytelling coach based on my struggles as a kid.
Having a language disability at a young age, communicating complex thoughts was a severe challenge. I began turning my life around after years of speech therapy and extra practice through elementary and middle school.
After eight difficult years with this disability, my persistence pays off to the point that my grades improve and I begin to excel at communication during high school. I study Spanish for four years and graduate as one of the most proficient Spanish students in the class. Years later, as an employee at Samsung Electronics, I teach myself Korean to build a stronger relationship with my counterparts in South Korea.
Once a weakness, public speaking and effective communication are now my strengths.
